Folks have reported on some of these where they don't restart as the impeller seems to freeze up. The problem is that the ceramic shaft spins in a ceramic collar on each end and this can bind after a while, so I soaked the impeller in vinegar overnight to loosen up the collar, and for good measure I used some fine sand paper to smooth the shaft and create just a tiny bit more freedom to spin. They've been working great ever since.
