Jumping fish and how to keep em in the tank.

I just ordered a Tiger Jaw fish. I have a Elos tank w/ aqua top lighting canopy, the cover pretty much covers the tank except for 4 half moon shapes on either side of the top, two in front and two in back. Any suggestions on how to cover these opening so the fish can not jump to his death?

You could glue some gutter guard to the glass over the holes.

Gutter guard or screen is cheap and easy

pong netting works well to allow for ventilation, you just have to find the stuff with smaller 'diameter' squares..
