Just thought I'd post a few pics of the horse... I mean puppy!

Cali is about to turn 7 months old and I got a few pictures of her playing in the yard the other day that I really enjoyed so I thought I'd share. She's 92 pounds and just finished her 3rd set of obedience classes. She's really a great doggie (when she's not being afraid of baseball caps!). Careful, the cuteness in the following pics could make lose your mind and run out and buy a giant puppy ;).

Here's the murder of Mr. Lobster.

This is the murder of the terrible sprinkler monster.

And this is how to take a nap while you dry out from a job well done!

For reference, this was her on Christmas Eve ;). (she weighed 18 pounds!)

Between her and the store I've been a wee bit busy, but I do like to check in and read at least ;).

OMG - Cali is adorable! She's heavier than Penelope....at least last I weighed her she was 80#s (a month ago). Penelope also likes to attack the sprinkler monster....and makes similar faces when doing so. I'll have to get the camera out today to get updated shots. She TOWERS over our lab....he looks tiny next to her.

Here she was in December:

and here she was in March. The collar she's wearing in this picture is so small now....it won't even go around half of her neck. Its funny to think she even fit in it!

Ohhh, Penelope's awesome! You need to take more pics while she's still less than a behemoth, hehe. I've got a drawer full of collars that don't fit anymore also. If she was 80 pounds last month, she's probably actually bigger than Cali ;). At least I don't have to be the only one here with a horse!

Barbie - you inspired me to get out the sprinkler! This was Penelope just getting started (its a little rotating sprinkler of a cartoon character...and yes, its on the deck). Between my child and the dog, I wasn't going to be able to keep the camera dry :D ...... so here she is today:

It's so funny to see how much they love those sprinklers! Cali's eyes just light up when she sees Bob setting one up anywhere. Taking pictures is definitely a high risk thing to put your camera through! Who would have thought they could sling water that far!

Gaby they're English Mastiff's. I've always owned other breeds of dogs but seriously, I doubt we'll ever own anything else. These dogs are just amazing.

Here is Penelope's friend Eddie. He is also an English Mastiff but he is a fluffy mastiff so his coat is a bit longer.

He decided to climb in the front seat while we were camping last year. Notice they tongue hanging way out like it's a 100 degrees outside. Too bad it was only 45!!!!
I'll try and get more pictures tomorrow.

We love Eddie! He's such a good boy, and reminds us how big Penelope is going to get......and reminds us how high the slingers will fly :D

Ohhh, Eddie's gorgeous! I always get to refer to the breeders adult females when I forget what I bought into, hehe. Here's Cali trying to lead Aunt Bailey around ;).

And this is what happens when Aunt Bailey catches her treats. Notice all the teeny high velocity slingers that are going to just freak everyone out!

Great pics!!!!! And if own a big dog, you have to love slobber, that is just a fact of life. Don't you just love it when they come over to say hello when they just got done having a drink of water?:D

Thought I'd post an update from today. My mammoth loves to lay in the sun on the deck around the same time everyday. The above 90 temps today didn't deter her at all, however her laziness in the sun was short lived. She came back inside early to relax in the air conditioned house. At least she was polite in the picture and didn't show any slingers from the nice wet drink she took before laying down .

Yeah, especially since Cherokee drinks out of the toilet.
