Kalawasser Paste

Hey guys, just a quick question.

Can I make the Kalawasser paste to kill aptesia with this ?

If so how. Just mix it in a spoon with a small amount of water until it's a thick paste then squirt it with a syringe onto the aptesia?

Yes that is what I use exactly..

I usually take approx 1 tsp of kalk and 1tsp of water and go from there... I make it as thick as the Syringe will let me without clogging it...

after mix well with water ,put in microwave for 1 min ,then draw in syringe,,start to feed them while it hot..will worked better than cold

I've had better luck with lemon juice than anything....

I have been told that the best thing is lemon juice. You have to be quick and get to the aptasia before they retract though. You can get them all though some are in cracks that you can't get to. How about peppermint shrimp, don't they eat aptasia?

my other solution is ,,copperband butterfly,,that just taking a chance,,got lucky,,, start to eat aiptasia two day after in the tank..so maybe another solution to try.

peppermint shrimp will usually eat aptasia, but they also (in my experience) tend to find things like yellow colony polyps tasty also, and the shrimp then becomes problematic...
