Does anyone have any recomendations on a kalk reactor? I am curious about what brands work best and if it is worth the effort. Also a ATO to work with it.

trust me they are worth the effort, I dont know how I could live without mine!

I've read that the magnetic stirer type is the best type to get. I don't know much about them still doing research on it. I know DonW has a bunch he made that he is trying to sell i think.

I dont like the stir bar ones, they constantly get stuck in the mud!

I have a GEO calcium reactor that can maintain 9 dkh continuously, but I have noticed lately I have a hard time getting my calcium above 360. I was thinking running both reactors could help my calcium and stabilize my PH also.

Kalk reactors are great.

The Geo units are good, as are the PM. Most of them are actually pretty good and they can be easy to make.

Myself I like the paddle stirring best, then powerhead then magnet bar.
