“Whereas today the average aquarium uses white sterile corals, it is entirely possible that the aquarium of tomorrow will contain nothing but live corals and fish...”

Well obviously he was right, and the reef aquaria of today are incredible. So Im ready to build my own custom dream tank. With that said, what better place to share my experience than with the reef keeping frontiers?
Heres the plan:
Tank: 60" x 30" x 24" , 180 Gallons.
All glass, with black plastic trim. This tank is not Eurobraced, but it does have perimeter bracing. (Like eurobracing, except its purpose is not for structural integrity.)
The perimeter bracing provides me to mount the returns across the top of the tank.
2 drains in the overflow, each 1.5". I would have gone up to 2" each but I will explain why I chose 1.5" later.
The overflow is a trapezoid shape, which gives me extra space for the Durso drains.
More info coming soon.
