Thanks everyone. I think I am liking how it is 'scaped right now. Mike gave me a couple of pieces of rock he had leftover. I may look them over and see how they may integrate.

The substrate it completely bare, just looks like a powdering in the picture. Maybe because there is a layer of cork I believe under the tank that may give it that appearance? I forgot what I placed under it, but it is likely that material that gives it that sandy appearance.

Thanks Mike. My large purple stag has taken a beating over issues, I am hoping that it comes around. Overall I am happy with the things I have done to it all lately.

Thanks for the rock you gave me. You said it is all boiled and cleaned up. Do you suggest curing it in a small bucket prior to using it?
