I took some pictures tonight. Much different trying to capture the tank under my 20000k lighting instead of the previous 10000k lighting ...

And the purple tang is very difficult to capture under the bluer lighting ...

Yup 20k XM 250 watters get my vote. I've been using em for awhile. They really aren't that blue after burn in.

I didn't have much luck with those XM bulbs and neither did a couple people I know. After about 3 months they made a loud buzzing noise and then died. I think I would just pay the money and go with the Radiums.

Chuck the tank looks way better then it did about 6 months ago .

Thanks everyone, it is coming along slowly but surely. I am liking the results.

Bob, we will have to talk about the candy cane. One of them I won't touch, it plays home to my clownfish believe it or not. The other one is a possibility.

That is not a Bob Moore piece, it has been in my tank for a long time, grew very large until my tank crashed, but managed to save a piece and it seems to be doing well.

I think I am liking these Radiums.

Growth looks fine and you have some very nice corals in there.
