May be picking up a large acrylic tank that has a leak and possibly warped top corner. Just wondering if its fixable. Or even worth fixing. 300 gallon tank. Maybe chop nd reseal or possible viewing panel for a plywood build.

Need to see pics. Usually you can cut the top off and just install a new top.

Having had one just blow on me I would say dont touch it with a ten foot poll, but I am jaded.

Weldon3 or Weldon4, you can use it to fuse the acrylic together wether its a whole panel or filling in a crack. Weldon 16 (I think) is used to remove panels.

I think your confused. 3 is thin general purpose solvent. 4 is the same but slower setting used for generaly extruded. 16 is more of a thick glue. Not really used on tanks at all. 40 is two part medium thickness and provides the best of both for tank building and repair.

I'd take some pictures and see if the Sponser on the site that build acrylic tanks thinks it's a wise decision or not?

If you were going to just cut it up anyway, I don't see why a corner leaking would be any issue at all :D
