led timing question

hello all,

Im fairly new to leds and have been using for the past 3 weeks a 60w cree fixture over my 29 gallon glass aquarium. they have been acclimated well since the previous fixture was a 15 w par 38 led, but that was over a smaller tank since a upgrade was made to the 29.

my question is simply how long should i run my lights? right now the blues come on at 8am then whites on at 1030am, whites off at 730pm blues off at 9pm. i have a mixed reef, including a few sps, and everything seems fine im just curious to see if i should have them on for less time or if anyone has some opinions.

I think your lighting schedule is just fine as we are mimicing the tropics, and in doing so 11-13 hours of daylight throughout the year is what these animals have evolved with.
