Greetings
Am buying a used Reefkeeper Lite + SL1 tomorrow, but the gentleman I am getting it from does not have the SID. The SID is the little device that connects the unit via USB to a Windows computer to program and update Firmware. From my understanding, you must have a SID ver. 2 in order to hook up the RKL to My Reef 2.0. Once your modules are updated and programmed, you disconnect the SID and stick it back in the sock drawer. I will order an SID from DA but cant stand to wait the week or so for arrival, so was hoping I could borrow a fellow Reefers SID to program and upgrader my RKL then would bring it right back. I can even leave my wife at your place as collateral... (Joke) she just hit me.
Lemme know, I am travelling north tomorrow up from Fed Way to Bothell via Redmond, and I will have my laptop, I could even update the RKL Firmware on the spot.
Thanks
