life at night

Been spying on my tank at night (moonlights) and seen hundreds of small white dots everywhere (only at night). They are on the acrylic, on the LR - well just all over. They appear to be like snails. Is this something to worry about? Should I have some kind of control fish in there? Everything else is fine including water parameters.

nope - normal part of cycling. they are pods and they are eating detrius and other things in your tank. they are good thing but as your tank cycles they will grow in population then decline to a sustainable population.
