Life Span of Astreas?

I was just wondering what the typical life span of astrea snails are...haha anyone got an idea?

I've had one since about 2004. Up until yesterday he was the last snail in my original clean up crew... Yesterday I went out and bought him a whole bunch of friends. He's by far the biggest of the group with a shell diameter in between a quarter and fifty cent piece...lovingly nicknamed Chubs...

When I first got them they were about the size of a dime. Over the years this guy was mistaken for a turbo a couple times. My friend thought it was a fitting name since he had grown so large.

As for his age, it's been quite a few years. In fact, that one snail has outlasted every other inhabitant other than some GSP and a few hitchhiker Zoas. The joke around here is up until the other day a handful of red legged hermits and that one snail were the only occupants for my 29g for some time now. Folks would come over and be drawn to the tank only to look at live rock.
