Indirectly, light causes different things to happen such as algae multiplying and dying in the water column. This would effect ORP.

Not 100% sure. I would think if lighting is causing some sort of daily die off then the bacteria may become more active at times and possibly multiply.

Yes, obviously are aerobic bacteria because the anaerobic are to the inside of substrates.
