Light Question?

I think for not much more money, you could purchase a fixture with a name brand that's known. When purchasing generic fixtures, you need to make sure of a few things for safety purposes. Is the fixture UL Listed? Are the plugs grounded?

Some other things to consider, what is the warranty? How well is this fixture built? What type of ballasts does it use? I hope you noticed that while bulbs are included, they aren't considered items covered by shipping for damages. It states that if bulbs are broken during shipping, they offer cheap bulbs...lol. Which brings up another question...how good of quality bulbs are included?

Check out some of the better known names before making a purchase of this magnitude. Hamilton, Corallife, USAlighting, Sunlight Supply....these are just a few of the better names out there. You will pay a little more but get a much better quality fixture and with the good name comes good service if needed.

Here's a few links to online suppliers I'd recommend.

This is by no means an exhaustive list. There's many other great sites out there...as well as many great ones who are sponsors of RF. Check out the Sponsor forums as well!!
