lighting for 76 half round

I have a 76 half round that I am working on setting up. I eventally want to put a DIY LED hood on it but till I can afford it I was wondering if a 250 watt MH would work. I plan on keeping all sort of corals sps, acans and zoos mabey some softies as well in it. The tank is 24" deep I am going to have alot of rock in the tank. Thanks for the help

a single 250? It could work but you might be limited in keeping all SPS in the center of the tank. I Think most folks are going to say go with 2. What kind of reflector would you be using? Since it's a half round I would think you would want to go with some sort of Lumenarc, Lumen bright style of pendant fixture for the most coverage for that shape.
