Can someone help me with this lighting situation... I have used the SE 250w 10k xm's and for my light change this year I wanted to try the reeflux 250w 10k's. I got them in and am trying to use them on my pfo ballast, not hqi, just a plain pfo ballast. I fired them up and one worked and looked awesome and one flipped pink, which I had heard was a drawback. The supplier sent me another and when i fired the new bulb up, the other original new bulb flipped pink, not as bad as the first. The replacement bulb right now is the only one with the color it is supposed to be.

I love the look for these bulbs and would like to use them, but this is crazy in trying to get 2 bulbs that work, together.

Has anyone else had such a time with these bulbs and what in the world could be wrong??

I remember when the XM's turned yellow a lot of the time when they first came out, If you like the look then keep returning them, let them know exactly what you had & have on them, hope you get it right soon enough.

i just got the same bulbs 250w reeflux SE 10k's. so far both bulbs appear to have the same color. they are far from burned in though only 8 hrs or so on them. i have heard that they may burn pink for a while until they burn in then they have a "crisp white light" after 100 hrs or so. this is my first set of these bulbs though. i have a hamilton fixture and ballast .
