Lighting question

Hey all-

I have a 440w ARO VHO ballast and I'm only running 2 24" VHO. I was wondering if i could use the ballast to run 2-t5. Is this possible?

This from the hellolights.com website:

Well, don't let all the misinformation out there confuse you. This ballast will "run" all those lamps in the question above, however, it's not recommended for T5 due to performance degradation. Sure, the AS-220 will light those lamps, but you will not get the performance out the lights that you think you are getting.​

So, you can do it, but they don't recommend it.

So is it possible, because its a 440w ballast, to run two VHO and two t-5's. Thanks for the resopnses.
