my tank is 5ft by 2ft by 1.5 112 gallon i have 400 watt 20k mh and 2 t8 36watt actinics i am thinking of adding another 400watt 20k mh i have a mix of corals sps lps etc do you think this would be to much.:)

When running the 20K lamps like that you loose lots of PAR so your plenty good if you add another.

personally i would put 3 400watts 2 14s and a 10 in the middle
i run 1 400watt on a 4ft by 14 by 18 and i have consider putting a second one up

Mark 20k's are cool for color but if you need the corals grow 10k's helps them grow faster or try 14k.But yeah you do have 400watts per lamp with is cool also 20k ;)

yea i was going to put another 400 watt 20k on but reading what you said about the kelvins i am going to try 10k for now and see if theres any difference with the grow rate because my corals are fine but not growing as fast as i thought could be the wrong bulb to have(20k):)
