Lionfish Cloudy eyes?

My lionfish looks like it has cloudy eyes? why?

lion fish are quite hardy. For the lion to get cloudy eye it will probably have to do with your water quality. check your parameters. Do water change and carbon.

What it generally means with lions is that they were overfed, the food has started to rot in their digestive system as they digest their foods very slowly, and that has caused a bacterial infection.

To medicate you should use one of the maricyn's, not sure which one.

almost everytime a fish has cloudy eyes, you can blame it on water quality. I've never heard of the digestive issue, but mycin is a good general antibiotic

I second both of you guys. Over feeding can lead to bad water quality which leads to cloudy eyes.

I feed him one every 2 days via a stick. So is this problem fixable

feed closer to every three days. Also depending on his size feed less also. A full grown lion should only get maybe 2-3 silversides at a feeding session. They will eat far beyond when they should stop. As I stated above medicate with the above mentioned medicine.
