Little clams in my 'fuge???

As I was transferring the contents of my refugium to my sump, I found about 6 of these tiny "clams" attached to my LR. They are about the size of a quarter, some are white, some are darker, and they open up about a 1/4" or less when things are calm. They are about the consistency of a hard toenail, from what I can tell. I know they have multiplied, as I remember seeing one a few months back, wondering what it was, but then got busy and forgot about it. Does anybody else have these? Does anybody know what they are exactly?

Can't make out the shell shape with all the "encrustment". Hard to ID when they're like that. The most common you'll find are usually turkey wings.
