Hey all,
I'm a newbie to this game and just looked in my tank tonight and noticed that there are all these little white bugs crawling on the glass. They are very small, I thought they were just bubbles at first, but they are moving around radomly and look like they have a small tail. Is this bad?

Wow you guy’s are quick!! lol

Your description leads me to believe that they could be amphipods, or copepods too. (= good bugs to have)
How’s that go again?.... Copepods, copepods, everyone’s coo coo for copepods! :)

pods

yeah, thanks for the info.
they look exactly like the first picture in the pods article. sounds like they are a good thing, but my tank is new and i don't have many filter feeders yet. the pod are covering the glass, should i feed less while there are so many of them. my ammonia level was at .25 last night, i'm not sure if this has to do with the pod or overfeeding or what....
