This started off as a needle wheel drive for a skimmer design but I gave up on it. I'm in the process of extenting the drive to 10" and making the impellor should be done in a week or so.

Oops typo it is 10" its being extended to 19" below the water. With the needle wheel doing the stick my finger in the stream test its about 300gph. That should jump quite a bit with the normal impellor.

Hey Ed,
Didnt think even consider that. Is there much pressure in a kalk reactor? I was thinking one for each back corner of my tank instead of a spray bar. The motor is in the canopy all you see is the 1/2 clear acrylic drive.

Don,
You have my Vote for DIY Man of the Year! I could just see a Kalk Stirrer as I looked at the picture.

Na, I think that one goes to Tom, I'm just a poor man with a rich mans hobby.
I'll think about the kalk stirrer. Do you still need one? I have enough scraps to put one together but I dont need one.
