Ok here is the first of many things to come. We are looking for 2 volunteers to test and do a write up on the new ReefBrite dual arc MH bulbs that were so generously given to the club at Seamax. Here are the details:
These will be the requirements:
From the company:
A write up needs to be provided on the quality of this bulb in relation to other brands used in the past such as XM, coralvue etc
The ability to use a 250W SE MH bulb.
The ability to intelligently relay your findings and thoughts on the bulb.
Photos of coral growth rate over the given time frame.
A log of your parameters to ensure the bulb was the difference and not a change in chemistry.
The ability to use this bulb at a MINIMUM of 2 months with no serious interruptions.
In return:
You get a free bulb and your write-up will be posted here, the PSAS boards, sent to Reefbrite and used for their research purposes.
A chance to get your thoughts on a new light posted throughout the web.
As a side note don't worry too much about professional editing as the work will be reviewed by a double english major prior to being posted and sent out.
