Lost all my PM's! Lots of stuff I had archived that I needed: other reefers' e-mail addresses and phone numbers, and some ongoing business transactions. Also, the color scheme of the new forum is tough on my eyes.
Still feeling it out, but I like it for the most part

Sorry about the PMs ... let me know what you need and I may be able to retrieve the info manually from the old database for you.
Color schemes are definately a personal preference by many. We tried to get one that people can read more readily. What part of the site is too bright? The white areas?

I have a question/suggestion. Is there some funcionality missing from the PM Inbox, because I noticed that there isn't a <B>Reply</B> button that I could find anywhere? If not, I would like to throw in my vote for adding that in (if it's possible), sure makes it easier to respond to people.
Also, are we always going to be limited to 1000 characters when sending messages?

Can't guarantee a thing that I can recover any PMs except on a case by case basis I can probably locate the text for people who need some vital info from a PM.

the font is just toooooo big for me. i'm talking about all the fonts. i am running at 1024x768 and it's still large. can't imagine what it would be like at 640x480. Unfortunately the Text Size option in IE doesn't change the font size.
I just feel like it wastes so much screen space having the font this huge. That is why I wished we had Themes in order to customize the font size and all.
I love everything else.....but to me the font thing is a huge issue. The font size on Reef Central is perfect if there is anyway to get it down a point or two.

I'll have to email Chuck a few screenshots I took to show him what I mean. I am also on a laptop so maybe that is where the difference is coming in but I doubt it.

it looks like the font for the text is a Verdana 10.5 point. The one on Reef Central is a 10 point. Weird that a .5 makes that much of a difference.
The other thing I noticed is that on such items like Location, Signatures, etc. are also at the 10.5 point font when RC is at a 7.5 font. I think that is where I am mainly seeing the problem. The descriptions for the various forums are in the same size as the titles and not at a smaller font.

I haven't updated anything with respect to fonts ... they don't seem large on my screen at all ... I just went to Reef Central and their fonts in their posts, if anything, look larger than what we are using here.
I attached a screen shot of what I see ... are the fonts in the same proportion on the page that everyone else is seeing? Noticing the reply button and such as a reference?
