I am trying to put a eductor on my sea swirl but the sea swirl sits to far out of the water that the eductor sucks air. Looking for any suggestions.

Thanks,
Chris

LocLine should hook right up to the Sea swirl output. Get a few links of loc line and then hook your eductor to the end.

Sorry Chris, I never had one so I don't know what to tell you :( However, I have looked at them a few times and they seem to be really nice. I'm going to keep dropping in to see if you get things worked out and how much you end up liking it...As well as others opinion on them. Good luck

You can get a drop pipe from seaswirl. There is a maximum length that is allowed, its on the site. Down side backshiphon will drain out more of your tank. Think about the flood. Think about this. Make a acrylic or plastic shield to prevent the tornado effect pulling down from the top. Something as simple as the cut side of a coke bottle and tie strap may work. Steve

Thanks for the advice all.

Steve,
the sea swirls are on closed loops so flooding is not an issue. I am going to have to try the shield idea though.

Thanks,
Chris

use some pvc couplers and 1" pvc depending on how far you want to go ... PVC couple to the sea swirl, then whatever PVC you need from the coupler to the eductor ... I use a pvc coupler to a small bit of pvc to the provided output and it works great.

Thanks Chuck,
I tried using 1.25" and another piece of 1" and it didn't work to well. I will go get a coupler tomorrow.

Chris
