Hey all, i have seen a few people use "pond foam" to help make sure their LR stayed where they wanted it, and i had a few questions about this.

Is there a special kind of pond foam that needs to be used?

Can it be used on Already cured liverock?

and if i use it, are there certain fish and other stock that i shouldnt use to make sure none falls off or gets ingested?

Thanks very much!!

awesome, this answered the questions i was wondering. im just going to have to do the drill and zip-tie method. Thanks a bunch!!!

Hey Dan, you can also drill and peg with acylic dowels and is much less obvious. TAP Plastics has 6' dowels in several sizes and runs about $3-6 a piece is all. You can even buy a few scrap pcs of 1/2"-3/4" sheet stock and drill for dowels in column fashion to support base rock off bottom. Just a thought.

Cheers, Todd
