Mag Pump impeller shafts

Has anyone found a place to purchase just the ceramic shafts for Mag pumps? If I don't clean mine every month, it fusses to the impeller and I end up breaking the ceramic shaft. Don't need to replace the whole impeller, just the ceramic shaft. If anyone has information, it is appreciated.

I guess a few people have used carbon fiber rods that can be found at hobby shops.
Just need to find the right diameter.

I have also seen where people have used carbon fiber. I have also noticed posts that say the carbon fiber will begin to come apart and the fibers go into the water column. Not excited about that.
