Boomer what is a good magnesium test kit, salifert is no longer available.

I have the elos test kit ( got it at barrier reef).
It worked fine for me. Thought I'd tell you about it as it's $30 ish.
3 ml of water 9 drops of one solution shake 30 seconds add a small scoup of dry powder . Then add the second solution and shake and add more then shake again until it changes color ( mine went from pink to blue but you have to wait 30 seconds to make shure it stays changed in color or add more) . Then the number of drops you add from the second solution multiplied by 100 gives you your magnesium ppm.

Salifert changed the reagent with the new kits, any left over reagents from the older kits can not be used, I guessing that the old kits were discontinued not the Mag. test itself. A Google search brings up many sites that sell the Mag. kits.
