I have lost three colonies in the past two weeks due to melting. I tested my water and had my water tested by a LFS and everything checks out good except my Nitra are at 10. I need to figure out what is happening to my Zoas. I don't see anything on them but at first they close up and then they start melting. It only takes like two or three days for them to completely close up and melt into nothing. What can i do????

ouch dood :(.
let's see ... did you look for any snails, slug eggs, baby slugs, do they have any white dots on them?
i say ... do a good dip if you haven't yet? if you have... how much did you do and for how long dood?

I haven't done a dip but i did take three colonies to a LFS so that we could determine if its something my tank or just a freak thing. He did a fresh water dip at his store for about a minute and only some baby snails fell off. I don't see any white dots or any slugs/nudis on the zoas.

if they do (which i hope they don't), then you're gonna have to put your zoos in a quarantine and do some snail hunting dood .
