Recently I didn't see my Mandarin for a couple days, who is generally active and easy to spot. I went to move some rocks around in the sump/fuge, and there he was! This was really suprising, because my center overflow is a straight 3/4" pvc pipe that is almost 3' long, and ends with a 90 degree angle at the sump. During this time, the water level in the sump was about 2" lower than the pipe, so it produces a little waterfall, and musta been one hell of a water slide for my fish!:scared:
I put him back in the main display only to find him in the sump again the next day! There is an abundance of pods down there, and I'm sure he returned to have a feast! So for now he can stay in there and get fat, and soon I will figure out a guard for the overflow and stick him back.
