Mandarin getting frisky with the clown

My male mandarin has been messing with the female clown fish for a few hours now. He just wont leave her alone. Is he in the mood for breeding or something? Any ideas? Do I need to get him a girlfriend?
He's being relentless.

He is still hanging around the female clown this mornging. He's so funny.
He has probably done this before and I just never noticed. They have all been together for two years now.

Well the mandarin has been behaving himself.

He surprised me last night though. I caught him eating a whole mysis. Well he tore some pieces off of it and then swallowed the last big part of it whole. He was never trained to eat it. He has been living on pods since I got him over 2 years ago. At least I thought he was. It was really cool to see him eating the mysis though.

HAHA!!! I spoke too soon. He was messing with the female clown again last night.
It was 11pm so maybe he does do it more often. I am just not up that late to see it.
He's funny.

haha mine acts like he is the only fish in the whole tank. i have seen other fish swim right into him and he didnt even flinch lol
