I was contemplateing building one. i have external reeflo blowhole pumps. two of the 1100 to be exact. I really was looking for some consistancy of flow through various reactors i have gac, gfo and a biopellet reactor i have not set up as i was contemplateing building a ats. If you have on do you cap the end and force the water to your devices or do you put a ball valve athe end and return to the sump.
one othe thing it is for a 135 i can put both pumps in or use one and not have a lot of flow through the sump. i was thinking gfo , gac and and the ats the rest through the return. i would feed skimmer , recirculating reef octopus from the overflow. what do you think, i need to decide 1 or 2 pumps so i can drill the new 40 breeder sump.

What kind of flow do the manufactures suggest for each of the reactors?? I would place a gate/ball valve before each reactor so you can adjust the flow for each unit.

What size tank is the DT? This will some what determine what flow rate you should be running for your return. That should help you decide if you want 2 pumps or one pump. Dont forget to factor in your head height

Finding the proper outlet pipe size for the pump rating, reducing the manifold outlets to allow a ball valve, or such, to control the flow needed to a reactor, etc... would be difficult. A lot of math behind that situation.... Flow Rate vs Pump Head vs Pipe Diameter restriction vs Pressure... lots to think about. It can be done though! I would love to see the outcome!!! :D
