Marine Land 125 & 150 impeller

I know this is a long-shot but...

A friend of mine has two extra filters. I borrowed a marineland 125 for a QT tank. He forgot to include the impeller with the filter and now doesn't know where it is.

After I bought all of the crap for it, I realized that the impeller was gone. So I went back to his house and stole the impeller out of his Marineland (150?). The impeller fits but won't pump any water when turned on.

Are they different impellers? If they are different, I can buy a replacement impeller. If they are the same then the filter is toast.

Anyone know?

I talked to a guy at the LFS and he told me to bring the filter down and they would install the proper impeller and check to see if it worked.

I guess thoes guys arn't all bad. :lol:

Got it.

They were slightly different impellers. The correct impeller works.
