Maxkor MH ballasts?

im looking to get a retrofit and they can upgrade to either maxkor or ice cap. now will the maxkor fire any bulb like the ice cap? i believe they said they both would but i have never heard of maxkor... has anyone here used these and are they good quality?

also would 2x175w be sufficient for my 75gal or should i go with 250w's? the retrofit also has 2x110w VHO's.
