hello everyone , my question is i'm using marinelands black diamond carbon, what type or kind of media bag should i use so i can put the carbon in? thanks

Any type of media bag that will hold the carbon in securely and allow good flow to pass through is good enough. I've even seen people use women's stockings so that should give you a pretty good idea:)

I got a couple of these and they are good quality but I would never recommend them for carbon. The carbon tends to fall through the mesh when rinsing it.

Media Bags

I've used the Current USA filter media bags as well as the HBH Aqua-Pure media bags and they both work equally well. The HBH are a little easier to find locally it seems and it works good enough for me.

tie it tight

Make sure you tie it up tight. It makes a real huge mess when those things come untied and release that into everything pumps main tank etc etc.I know i cant be the only one who has experanced this.
