MH Bulb question

Which bulbs do you guys like better xm 20k or radium 20k?

which one is more blue?

They will be ran on brand new 250w coralvue ballast.

I like Phoenix 14k's better performance & nicely blue.

cant go wrong with either, I went Ushio 20k cause they are cheaper and great color so far.

well i was going with these because i can get 3 brand new xm's for $180 or the radiums for $170.That why i would like to here some comentes about them first because this will be my first MH setup

The radium is a really nice blue. If your not use to 20k bulbs it may be too blue. I like the radium bulb over my zoanthids. Really makes the color pop. However on my main tank with other soft corals I prefer the Hamilton 14 k for a nice blue/white look.

well i should be usdd to a blue look as i have had my tank up for over a year and the only real lighting i have had is 2 3' super actnics

Side by side on IceCap ballasts the Radium is bluer, IMO
