Mike's 50

I have had this system up for about a month now. I transfered the contents of 2 29 gal tanks into this 50. I didn't realize how much stuff I actually had. But it all fit. Had to put left over live rock in the sump. Hope to have a 40 gal frag tank up this week. Thank you Ed for the tank and Paul for helping me set it up. Always good to have good reef friends. Thanx all. Yea I know it is packed, I have a lot of good reefer friends and do a lot of tank babysitting,lol. It is just VHO for now. Im trying to get another 175w PFO metal halide ballast to accompany my other one I have. Go with the 2 pfo's and 2 36" VHO's giving me around 550w. I figured my 2 250w PFO ballast and the VHO's would cook the tank.especially with no chiller.Thanx for looking all. Mike

Ha ha, I know been busy with work and that trick or treat thing with the kids. Then I got toned out at 1am this morning for a man down. When I got there the man was face down , blood all over and had been shot. We stabilized and the paramedics took him to St. Josephs Hospital. I went to drill tonight and my Fire chief said they had to remove one of his lungs and he may not make. Gotta hope for the best, just glad I could help. Talk about an adrenaline rush. I couldnt sleep for an hour after I got home.
