it was placed above the anenome for a long time, since i never glued it down its fallen to the sand to have to be picked up serveral times 2 far.

BUT this time its not there and i cant find it no where.....

thos the q

Can anenome's eat montipora frags?

nvm i found it.....

under the rim of the GTBA...

looks pritty bad now... was doing great a few days ago...

so angy, great way to start a work day

See ya guys

my next q is

Im gonna move it 2 a diffrent location.... on the other side of the tank.

do you think there will be not enought light at about 1 foot under the light insted of the like 3 or 4 inch's it was at yesterday (or the last time i saw it untill now)

i only have t5's, i know isnt enought but it was growing..

Keep it as high as possible. Thats my guess. Since it is a SPS it needs a considerable amount of light. If iwere you i would move it to where you want to and see how it does. You'll know within a couple of days if its doing good or not.

montipora corals do not need the higher lighting as most other sps like acropora. Most montipora plating corals can be kept quite successfully under pc's, vho's, and t5 lighting. They do just fine but do need to be placed higher. Is there anything left of the frag, like tissue, polyp extension???

ive recoved the lost monti from under the GTBA,

Ill update soon when i notice change.
