have u touched those? have u lost coral from it yet? Ive got some thats similar..

Ohhh they pack a bit of a bite :crutch:

Havent lost any corals..... I keep this coral "isolated" as I know how nasty it gets....... but looks like my flow upgrade a few weeks ago has it stretching out more than normal! :jaw:

When it does hit a neighboring coral it usually takes a few days to make some real damage, so I can move the coral before its a total loss - generally check for irritation on all my corals daily

thats a good thing i thinks. Hopefully ull find a nice view spot where it can grow out w/o bothering its nieghbors... but that prob wont happen lol. Eventually itll contact or find something to kill!

hehe - 1 more reason to get a bigger tank! So my coral can get longer sweepers!!

Thank that'll get past the husband??? :flypig: :flypig:

Does that favia have a name? It's hard to tell the colors under the actinics. It sure is a beautiful coral! I'm constantly surprised at the length of some of my corals' sweepers. :)

no clue, I traded some GSP for it years ago :)

It's pink with green mouths tho - so like alien eye I guess?? But lighter pink than most alien eyes....

I have a handful of different corals in my tank... the longest sweepers belong to the Galaxea and, believe it or not, my green cactus Pavona. Most of my Favias are still pretty tiny though. :)
