Hey all, I have a MJ 1200 that I modded, then I siliconed the suction cup frame on the back to attach to the glass. The problem that I have is that the suction cups keep losing suction then the MJ goes flying and blows sand all over. I was thinking about doing a magnetic holder similar to a Koralia (rubber coated magnet on the inside and the outside), but I haven't been able to find the right magnets. Does anyone have any better ideas or solutions that you've come up with? Or has anyone found good magnets that would work for this? Thanks!!

how about regular magnets you get from the hardware store, and cover them in silicone. let it dry and then they will be rubber coated?

I bought the Sure Flow 1600 Maxi-Jet mod kit and used some ceramic magnets to hold up the powerhead without using suction cups.
I bought it at Marine Depot. They also sell a magnet kit for these mods and for just plain maxi-jets, but they cost about $25.
The ceramic magnets I bought are a $1 each.

I found these ones at a place called Tacoma Screw.
But you can get them at Home Depot or Lowes in a white plastic cover.
