Thank you Chris dood !! :) .
For a moment i thought i was gonna come back home with nothing .
Sorry for nagging before the store was open  :p .
I'm very exited about using the Elos carbon ( i call it make up because the box looks like there's make up inside ) and my snail :D .

So you made a trip to Barrier Reef? :) I bought a couple of Elos products from them myself, today.

ya this is the second time i get to visit them since they're quite far for us.
i got there early and saw they were closed, so we went for Mcdonalds (it's good that they have it right there he he ), then Chris kindly attended me (even though they were still suppose to be closed :p) and got my Elos carbon and a turbo snail (my mother's day present :D:lol:) ...i can't wait to see the results .

what kind of Elos stuff did you get Jan :D?.

i love the turbo snails from barrier reef, not that they're different but they're eating like beasts and helping me solve my algae problems

Elos looks like it works really well their display tank they have their is amazing, i wonder how well it works using just a couple of their products, kinda expensive though, for a student anyways

Gaby,

I don't know any other mothers that would consider carbon make-up hehehehe except me and I am a mother to my fish my birds and my dog :).
Congrats on the fish trip. Sounds fun!!!!!!

hehe ya as soon as i put the snail... it just went to eating right away.
ya i love their little tank it's really really kewl.
it is a bit expensive even for me hehe, but if it works good for my tank i will get it again.

hehe Debbie if you'd see the box you'd think i went shopping for make up to the mall  ... or at least it has that look :D :p.

thanks for the kinds words there................i'm glad i was there early enough to help ya before you gave up and went home. let us know how you like the elos carbon. also, for marineteng........as far as elos is concerned remember that their expert line of additives are top, top notch. as far as the rb line goes.....you really want to do all 5 or not bother, they are designed to work together. that being said theres no reason not to try filtra m or perhaps the amino acids (i'm really starting to like the results with using the aminos). i really think they help out the display after the whole debacle that we had there.........................the elos lines are a tad spendy, but you really do get what you pay for. take care all........

Gaby,

I bought the Elos Omega Amino Acids supplement and a jar of Filtra M nutrient-absorber. :) I started using the amino acids, 5 drops for my 120 gallon, added to my cup of SW + phytoplankton.

I haven't started using the Filtra M yet; I'm still researching how to use it properly. I posted a question about it in the Elos forum at ReefCentral (the other place).

Plus, I got some Elos magnesium supplement--haven't used that either.
