Montipora's just arrived

i just got my montipora's today!!! DHL really comes early !!!!! i am acclimating the corals right now..i will try to get some pics in a little bit

here they are....i got a deep purple monti cap, a red/orange monti cap, green/ with red polyp monti cap, and a neon green monti digita.....

Very Nice sizes Ron!

Looks good on the Rack Ron do you have these in a tank with VHO only?
If you have halides you may want to drop them a little lower in your tank to acclimate them to the light.
Give them lots of Room Ron they will be fast growers

they are in a qt tank with PC's only...i qt everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they will only be in there for 6-8 weeks, then they will be put in my display..i have VHO's only on my display..that may change this week though!!!!!!

i am trying to buy "frags only"...i want to encourage fragging to everyone....pretty soon, i believe the gov't will step in and ban all importing of corals and such...it also helps to preserve our coral reefs!!!!!!

Ron I agree on tank propogation being a total win-win situation. Problem is there is no world government to step in and regulate. I would bet on total reef destruction as a more likely future than seeing international controls through treaty and law such as what appeared to be working with some whales.

Many countries are cash strpped and love the easy money available by raiding the reef. They get pennies on the dollar but those pennies add up. Look on Ebay at all the countries competing to sell you their coral colonies, look at the large rocks in the LFS. As long as there is a demand, someone will supply.

i got 3 of them for under $19.00 each..the purple one was $31 , i think..i picked the ones that i wanted to bid on..i am going to glue them in place once they are in my display tank
