MP40w questions

Hey there everybody. I am really hoping to get some input from you all...lol.
I posted a thread, Flow in a 215, and got it into my had that I need some more flow.:biggrin:
I went ahead and bought a pair of MP40w. I put one in my 215g 6' long tank about 10" down from the top and about 6" back from the front. It seems to be in a good place there but, theres no sticker on the back of the controller.
What do the colors mean while I cycle through the modes?
What would be a good mode to run continuosly while not feeding?
Would any of you place this pump in a different location? Its on one endand the other end has 2 maxi jet pros running as circulation pumps.

Oh. As far as the other pump, its on my wifes 44x24x24 tank in her business so I really dont think she will give tha one up to me.
I was told that the pump on my 6' tank has a anti-sync mode.?.?.? What is this?

Have you tried going to ecotech's website and tried searching for the manual?

I did. I printed out the 43 page manual. But I dont have that style of controller. I have the old rectangular style that only has the led light bar and no light up dial. I noticed that the manual works for some stuff for my pump but not all.

I'm assuming that you have a Gen 2 MP40W. If so, here's your manual.

THANK YOU!! I havent even really had the time to look around for it let alone play with the pump. My focus has been on my wife and her biz. I really appreciate it!
