My 210g reef

Thought I would post a few pics of my reef. It's 11 months old now. As you can see I still havent mastered the photography thing, but you get the idea.

Wow. Thats awesome. Thats exactly the tank I want. What are the measurements? Any more info about? Like where did the tank come from, is the stand and hood DIY, whats in it? Any future plans?

John - the dimensions are 84x24x24. I ordered the tank online. Built the stand and canopy myself- one of my other really expensive hobbies.. I wanted to start with mostly frags and let things grow. I have about 22 Acros, 4 milliporas, 5 montipora digitatas, 2 serriatopora, 3 brains, 2 clams, Porites, hydnophora, plate, some assorted zoos, euphyllia, and some more I cant think of.

For fish, -dussumeir tang, purple tang, epaulette tang, virigate rabbit, swallowtail angel, 6- line wrasse, maroon clown, small school of grn chromis, and arc-eye hawk.

I'm able to get away with a large fish fish because of the 75 sump/fuge, and some awesome LR that Mike helped me get. I have had no algae problems at all other than the break in diatoms which only lasted a week or so. (knock on wood). I also grow Xenia like weeds in the sump and regularly harvest and take to LFS which I think really helps with nutrient removal.

It is an Acanthurus Dusumeiri. Awesome fish when they get full grown. But they get BIG. Full adults are 50 cm long. When that little guy outgrows your tank I have a 1000 gallon home waiting for him!

They are kinda pale like that one as juveniles but grow into an awesome blue/green. Here is a pretty good photo of an adult.

Ooops! That fish is second to the left!

The one next to the rabbitfish is Acanthurus Pyroferus - mimic tang in full adult colors.

Yup, forgot about the Mimic. Donovan, Ive also got a 240g FOWLR that will buy me a little more time with the dussumier, until I can convince the wife to let me go bigger!!
