Well, as many of you know, I caught the "seahorse" flu. I'm not running out to get a shot, but am busy trying to make my tank "seahorse" friendly. Tomorrow morning I will be the proud momma of 2 pair of Erectus. I have been able to find 2 bright orange sponges (ones a tree, the other a finger) anyways, I'm so excited to see if they change color when added to my tank. I will take pic as SOON as I get them so I can share them with y'all here.

Today I received a bunch of frags for very little money :) I got ahold of some true blue xenia and was pretty psyched. I also received a colt coral and devil's finger leather which looks almost bluish... I also got a cool light blue mushroom and a Blasto frag... This tank will be pretty when everything grows.

I will keep everyone posted on this tank. I am SOOOOOOOOOO excited to get these horses. I've wanted them for SOOO long now.

Woohooo! I can't wait to see pics! The seahorse bug is about as bad as the coral one..... :D

wow. I had a BIG scare. The seahorses were supposed to arrive yesterday morning and they never did... I spent the WHOLE day on the phone with Fedex and no one really knew where they were... Well around 3pm they scanned in Memphis, and then later at 7 in Ft Worth. I received them this morning and they were in decent shape (all things considering). They were a little hungry, but Bruce shipped them in a breather bag so they were fine with air. I will post pics as soon as I get some. They are in a holding tank right now so they can eat. They have eaten quite a few mysis pieces. Poor little guys/girls... They were hungry.

Glad they are eating Becky. I know how stressed you must have been because you were so excited to get them...Hope they do well and I'll be looking for those photos:)

I will deffinately post some once I get my camera charged. It was such a relief for Bruce and I to have these guys arrive this morning... I went out and found them some ghost shrimp for a treat. They deserved it after their long 2 days. They are still in the holding tank. I glued acrylic rods in there so they can hitch. They have settled down quite a bit. They were a little high strung when I first opened the bag and put them in. What stress they must've gone through... I will keep everyone posted!

Here is a pic of my babies in their 37g tank.

Thanks Krish, the transfer was a LOT of work and took a whole day with both my mom and I working on it. I scrubbed each rock to rid them of hair algae and added about 30 new snails and a purple long spined urchin to help clean up.
