Here is my first tank, first post.
Do not know much about aquariums except from what I have picked up from this site.
I cycled my tank for 6weeks and have just added what you can see in the tank gradually for the past month.
Everything appears to be happy with their new environment.
I think.
Well the fish are still swimming. :D
Plenty of things on the 'To Do List' still:
Build stand and cabinet.
Add more light.
Purchase more exciting items.
Learn more about what Iv'e actually got in the tank already.

Very nice and very blue. What are the specs? Tank Size, lighting, filtration? etc.

W E L C O M E......

pretty cool. Nice clams. What kind of lighting are you using? Have your clowns adopted the toadstool leather as a home? That live rock rubble should give you lots of pods and such. How are you cleaning it? Gravel vac? Is that a long tentcle plate coral? Thanks Steve

What kind of lighting are you using? The water looks so blue. Nice aquascaping and ditto on the copepods and your rubble.

Lights are only 3x36Watt globes and 2x36Watt Actinics.
Tank size is 35 gallon and is second hand so it's a bit scratched.
I clean it with a gravel vac pump.
No the clownies havn't adopted any item as a home. Their home is on order. A nice carpet enn enemy eneminy...(hmmm) to fit onto that long tentacle plate coral.
I took the last photo with four actinics on it so it was a cool blueish colour, but doesn't really show what's in the tank so here is a photo of the tank as it usually is.
One of my clownies did a disappearing act yesterday :(
I had to pull out both pumps to check under every nook and cranny but he has gone. I don't own a cat but rats and snakes I do have. (not by choice). Something has declared war and I will seek out and destroy or relocate anyway.

Thanks for the good comments too.
This aquarium stuff isn't as easy as it looks, but it's damn good fun and rewarding.

topend - welcome to Reef Frontiers!!! Not sure how I missed this thread, but....Congrats on taking the plunge into this addicting hobby!

How is everything doing? any updated pics?

Oh yeah welcome to the club!!!! I like it with the lights on. What other critters do you have in the tank? Where did you get your rock from? Sorry to hear about the missing clown
