My frogspawn bobbles

Any idea why every couple of days my frogspawn creates a bobble in the middle of its head? Should I be concerned?

AFAIK it is something they sometimes do when the head is splitting. Ive seen mine do it in the past when I watched it more closely.

I remember seeing a few frogspawns doing that exact thing a couple years ago. Maybe they were trying to start a conspiracy....

wow i've never seen that either. glad its nothing serious i probly would of freaked if mine did that.

I've had a frogspawn and hammer both do that. Then they both seemed to melt off part of their body, which dropped way down until it landed on something and then detached. The dropped portion started a new colony. I think this is a type of budding reproduction that these types of corals undergo.

My frogspawn does this quite often. It is usually when the heads are splitting, as trido said.
