my metal halide wants to burn my house down.

when ever i try to turn on my metal halide it starts spitting fire from were the ballast connects to the light .

it is an aqualight 150 watt system.

can i just bring it to an electricion or do i need a special company?

Wooow that sounds just... a little dangerous. You should bring it to an electrician, safest thing do to. The wires are probably not connecting properly...

Are you sure that no water got onto the connections??

Sounds like the connections are either corroded or loose enough to Arc, I would disconnect & unplug it & inspect the connections, you may need a new harness.

thanks, i dont think that it got wet, it is under the stand in a place were it could only get wet it water bounced off of carpet.....then again you never know.
