my new clam won't open

I got a new clam (crocea 6 inches) last wednesday and for whatever reason it still hasn't really opened up. Other clams are doing fine and I have tried adjusting where he is in the tank to change the flow on him. How long will he last like this and does anyone have any suggestions.

Do you have a picture of the clam? Clams like low to midium water flow. What kind of lights are you running?

I don't have a picture yet. I have 2 250w 20's. he is on the bottom of the tank and in medium flow at best. I am looking for a really nice max if you have one can you shoot me a picture?

what fish do you have? i know you have other clams but some times when something new is added( like a clam) a fish that has never nipped will start and only pick on that clam
